And they’ll nod maybe, a little wiser all of a sudden. Coming around, sorta.
But the house, they’ll insist. Can I live there? Would I want to?

You’d wake up every morning thanking your lucky stars. Sit at the back window with an americano, the sun lighting up the face of your loved one next to you.
You might be sitting there musing lightly about your day, is our thought. The work you have lined up, and family obligations for the weekend. Where you might jet to in the summer, and how much more skiing you might fit in before spring. Anything, really, except what work you needed to do on the house, because there isn’t any.
